As a qualified BSc (Hons) Electronic & Computer Engineer from City University, U.K., Anand decided to quit his field of Engineering and continue his family's Metal and Steel Indenting business which was started by his father, Mr V R Kuber, who was one of the few people in India to have worked for "Phibro". He firmly believed in maintaining integrity, honesty, dedication and commitment in business. His philosophy has been passed on to all those who have worked under him since 1965.

His vast knowledge in the field of Metallurgy and the world wide contact base & good will established by him over the years the business was developed further by Anand who worked in the Internationl Trading of Metals & Steel for over 12 years, and developed a good understanding of the Industry. His team has developed Softwares for Metal Trading, Indenting and web based Virtual Office which maintains Online-Stocks for clients having multiple yards. IndianMetals.com was a passion which has materialised after the hardwork put in for the last 7 years by a dedicated team of Veterans and loyal staff.

Having worked in the IT Industry long before Internet had arrived in India, Navin has been an expert database programmer for the last last 10 years. Having worked on varied platforms, Navin has several accreditations to his account, including Microsoft Qualifications.

Navin was part of the development Team that developed an Indenting Package for Agents that was customised to automate all back-office and front-office operations that could be monitored centrally. The package was automated to such an extent that the entire operation conducted by a team of 20 people was reduced to 4!

He also playd a leading role in executing a project for his company, in the Middle East, for a leading Warehouse and Supermarket in Dubai. He then led the team in the development of a modular package to handle Stocks, Trading & Documentation. He then took over as Chief Development Officer of IndianMetals.com.

During the E-Commerce craze, Navin's attention was focused in Sales in the Metal & Steel Industry where his degree in Commerce along with his knowledge of the Metal Industry due on the software that he develped for the last 5 years, coupled with his soft-spoken Sales talk gave him insight into requirements of the other side of the software that he developed over the years.
