About the Bombay Metal Exchange :

The Bombay Metal Exchange Ltd; (BME) is one of the most dynamic and recoginsed body of the Non-Ferrous Metal Trade & Industry which has been in existance since 1933. The Exchange encompasses a wide spectrum of membership representing Trade, Industry, Importers, Small-Medium-Large Scale Industrial Units, Dealers, Indentors & Brokers.

It was in 1933 that the Non-Ferrous Trade realised the need for a Trade Association not only to speak on its behalf but also to look after their unity and interests. Metal Exchange Association came into existance with only eight members.

Apart from simply being a Single Voice of the Metal Industry the BME has also formed a Charitable Trust which is funding various Charitable events.

The BME has a powerful representation in organisations such as FICCI, ASSOCHAM, IMC, FAM & other important organisations by having their representative on the Committee to activelyt participate in the affairs and to place our grievances for redressal. The exchange representatives is also in Custom and Central Excise regional and local advisory committees and regoinal committee of HCL HZL & MMTC.
